2015 Ford Focus made its first appearance a few days ago ahead of its Geneva Motor show debut. To sharpen its focus on the world wide dominant C-segment, Ford has restyled the car front and rear and also upgraded interior. Improvements include quieter shock-valves, modifications to rear suspension and less-intrusive stability control.

2014 Ford Focus Exterior

At first glance you might not realize how much exterior of this car has changed. However, if you compare pictures of previous model and current one. You will realize that Ford Focus has indeed grown up. Ford Focus Car has revised front & rear fascias.

Apart from this, car sports a brand new hood, new front fenders and a tailgate. Car headlamps are more angular and tail-lamps sitting lower. Chrome at front gives a much more grown-up Focus rather than a sportier one. Similar changes have been applied to 4-door.

2014 Ford Focus went from traditional interior controls to flat touch-sensitive panels and voice controls. 2014 Ford Focus interior has buttons on dashboard for climate control and for ancillary systems and audio.

There is also a big touch-screen that remains at center console for navigation, entertainment and 4-quadrant Sync system. There are new seat trims, and all improved Ford App Link program, heated steering wheel, and a redesigned, easy-to-access glove box. Car has an on-board radar that is used also for its radar-based blind-spot warning system along with a rear-view camera, both as standard equipment.

2014 Ford Focus Engine

Ford company has announced that 2 engines will be offered; a standard 2.0 liter 4 cylinder gasoline engine and a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine. Ford Focus 1.0 liter engine will only be available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Ford Focus 2.0-liter engine is expected to produce 160 hp and a torque of 146 lb-ft.
